so for Dust would be the best 1x in Year a free Respec
Attributes are not even close to a respec impact wise. Why is this meaningless comparison repeated over and over again?

Attributes are not even close to a respec impact wise. Why is this meaningless comparison repeated over and over again? I know self thats not the same ,but in Eve you can change so your skilling direction , so you would be able in Dust also to change your role 1x in year ,so what is your problem The problem is that it's not the same thing. Remaps only matter in the long run to reward far sighted decisions and sticking to your plans at least for a year.
Regular respecs allow for impulsive change, make long term commitment irrelevant and therefore nullify the skill system as a whole.
Edit: Let me guess: OP starts with bad idea => superficial supporting talking points are reiterated on the first page => get shredded => supporters get butthurt and refuse to contribute to the discussion => /thread.
We reached the second last stage. Last stage imminent. |

1 AUR = .0004995 USD.
One 30 AUR weapon costs .014c USD. 1.4 cents.
An entire evening playing with one favorite 30 AUR weapon, based on 20 Restocks, each match lasting roughly 15 minutes, at a 2:1 KDR (Which doesn't really mean a lot - I make a ton of WP based on stealth Droppers) means you play for an entire evening for .28 cents.
I've gone out to Happy Hours or Dinners which sucks - and cost me around $30 bucks. For an hour and a half.
This lets me WTF PWN Academy players in Militia gear all day long. Yes, it's beating up on the weak, and yes, you get owned once you start getting into real matches with good players but at the start, it's super fun.
Since the entire premise of Dust is microtransactions, I can see an AUR based skill reset Booster as likely.
We'll probably eventually get into Joken Mystery Boxes / Ferengi Lock Boxes before too long, also.
Contratulations, you've found a way to pay money for a minor advantage (you can barely do kitten with all the AUR gear without getting your fitting skills up to snuff first) within a certain part of the game that is completely void of any lasting impact, other than padding your k/dr and deliberately hurting the NPX of other academy players. Have fun trying to carry your k/dr over to the real games. |
